Your journey begins with a relaxed drive down the Seward Highway. In the late afternoon, the low-angled sun casts dramatic shadows across the fjords, offering unparalleled landscape and professional-grade photography opportunities at our dedicated coastal scenic stops.
03:30 PM – 04:00 PM | Premium Evening Pickup: Custom pickup directly from your Anchorage accommodation in our luxury 8-passenger vehicle.
04:15 PM – 05:15 PM | Golden Hour Coastal Drive: Travel along the Turnagain Arm with your expert guide, stopping at key turnouts optimized for late-afternoon lighting.
05:15 PM – 08:30 PM | Mount Alyeska Alpine Experience: Take the Aerial Tram to the peak. Enjoy dinner, drinks, alpine walking trails, and watch the sunset/alpenglow wash over the glaciers.
08:30 PM – 09:30 PM | Return Under the Midnight Sun: A smooth, relaxing evening drive back to Anchorage as the twilight fills the valley, dropping you directly back to your hotel.

What to Wear: Weather in the Chugach Mountains changes rapidly. We highly recommend dressing in layers, including a wind/rainproof outer jacket and sturdy, comfortable walking shoes.
Activity Level: Easy to Moderate. Walking at the Alyeska Reort is flat and paved, but at the mountain guests should be comfortable hicking and standing and walking for up to 1.5 to 2 hours to get the most out of the AlpenGlow and Sunset.
Snack Tip: Guests are welcome to bring their own travel snacks or covered drinks to enjoy during the drives.
Health and Condition:This tour involves minimal walking (approximately 1 mile total over gravel pathways) and is friendly for guests with limited mobility using canes but "No Walkers"
Extra Gear: Our custom 8-passenger Transit van can accomodate 1 back pack per person and it cannot safely accommodate standard non-folding wheelchairs.
Infants and children: Children are welcome; please notify us during booking if you require space for a child safety seat.

Weather Policy: If Your Alaska Tours cancels the trip due to extreme, unsafe road conditions or severe weather events, a 80% refund or alternative date will be issued immediately.
